Promaster Gourmet, a gourmet housewares and commercial restaurant suppy company in Staten Island, has reopened after Hurricane Sandy.
It was one of the biggest hurricanes in the history of New York and 5 feet of water that shut down Promaster Gourmet, a gourmet housewares retailer and restaurant supply company in Dongan Hills, Staten Island.
Just a month after initial opening in early September of 2012, the store located in the heart of Hylan Blvd had been completely destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Now, five month later, Promaster Gourmet has been renovated and ready to greet the customers who love to cook.
The inventory, completely destroyed by the hurricane, has been replaced, now offering innovative kitchen essentials and gadgets from Nesco, Cuisinart, Cuisipro, Nespresso and more. A wide range of commercial brands such as Winco, Libbey, Waring, Dart and San Jamar is also available.
The store was redesigned and expanded to include a demo kitchen that will be used in future for cooking classes for the community. And now, with innovative product, top notch customer service, affordable pricing and convenient online ordering, Promaster Gourmet is rapidly gaining popularity among the residents of Staten Island and neighboring areas.
